Hulme Flume is manchester's largest CSO and was first discovered by
Scott and Snappel. I can remember looking at pics of it when I first
heard about exploring, yet for some reason none of us had ever made the
trip down there. So with the location for the night decided, Gone and
myself went for a cycle to check out the access.
A few hours later, and after some disagreement over an open door with a chinese lady, the four of us made our way back through the "Red Gang territory". Apart from dropping one of my gloves before even starting to climb down the manhole, and some difficulties with closing and opening the lid from beneath, the trip was a good distraction from work.
Nice photos, very well lit!
